Elizabeth Tweedale joins #YDNTP host Ben McDougal to talk about the future of work and lifelong learning

Coco Coders CEO Elizabeth Tweedale joined author, founder, technologist, entrepreneurial ecosystem builder and host of You Don’t Need This Podcast, Ben McDougal recently in Iowa to talk about the benefits of embracing lifelong learning and transforming how parents think about technology and the future of work.

It was great to spend time with Ben, who has a natural energy of accelerating and inspiring others. A fellow Loras College graduate, Elizabeth and Ben had a lot to talk about, exploring Elizabeth’s experience of the US and UK Education systems, creating an award winning coding curriculum, but also her lived experience as a parent herself raising three children around launching a business and overcoming challenges as a female founder in Edtech.

Also chatting about the future of work…which by the way for our kids is going to be fun! The world is really their playground, and when children are encouraged to connect, play games and engage because they are having fun, they’re empowered and as a result translate into employees and employers who are more likely to enjoy their work when given the opportunity to do what they’re best at. Top talent has evolved. Attitudes are changing and today’s workforce is transformed in to tomorrow’s Playforce.

“Preparing the next generation for the technological future is the number one thing to keep our children relevant and bring them an understanding and a way to find joy in their future career” Elizabeth Tweedale, CEO and Founder Coco Coders
